Portal Home > Knowledgebase > E-Mail > Email Authentication > Set up SPF
This function is trying to prevent spammer for sending email without your domain name as sender (spoofing). This authentication function works by adding IP address list, decides which computer could send email from your domain name. It will verify that the message sent from your domain will come from enlisted sender, and also cut down the amount of backscatter you’ll receive.
- To use SPF, click Enable.
- To deactivate SPF, click Disable.
Note: both authentication function, DomainKeys and SPF, needs server as DNS server for domain’s name. For more information about DNS server, review your hosting contract terms and conditions.
