Add New MX Entry




  1. In Add New Record, set the priority for new MX entry, with the record that 0 is the highest priority.  These are some points you need to consider for the priority of MX entry:
    • Smallest value means highest priority, 0 is the highest priority.
    • Main mail server (with lowest number of priority) will receive email which sent to your domain.
    • Backup or secondary mail server (with higher number of priority) can be used for backup or other purposes.
    • If you already set several mail servers with equal priority, the incoming mail will be distributed randomly to them.
  2. In Destination text box, type hostname from new mail exchanger.
  3. Click Add New Record to save changed.
