Legacy File Manager offer options to manipulate by old version of web-based interface. User that familiar or accustomed to use old version of cPanel File Manager could use Legacy File Manager for more comfortable.
When you click files from the list, window menu will appear at right corner of the window, show options to manipulate file. (Especially for the chosen file, so then you can’t see all choices).
The Lagecy File Manager
- The function of “Copy” button is for copying chosen file in decided directory.
- The “Show File” Contents link simply just to see content file (can’t be manipulated).
- The “Move File” link let you to move chosen files to your computer.
- The “Download” link is for downloading chosen files to your computer.
- The “Delete” link put specified file from server to trash. For this part, you can restore files which already moved into trash or delete it permanently.
- The “Rename” link let you to change file’s name.
- The “Edit” link open editor to the chosen file.
- The “Code Editor” link open editor code for HTML file.
- The “Change Permission” link will let you to change desirable permission file.
- The “URL” link show chosen files to be seen in web.
